ECHO By Akinyemi Mary Stephanie

Echo

O wonder soul
O broken heart
Searching  where you belong
Moving to and fro
Looking north and west
But no place to call home

You wonder the whole earth in circles
Searching for a place to call your own
but nothing to atone
nothing  to calls to you
And you wonder
Am I alone on this earth?

That’s when You hear the still voice call
And then it feels like you’ve found it
Something snatches it from you
and then you’re back to the beginning
Moving in circuit
Finding a place you belong
