Political Slavery By Jay Gana
"All animals are equal
But some animals are more equal that the others"
Contents of a little book
A sentence with a never ending root
A relativity that can never be overemphasized
How my nation is aware of it's current state
Yet enjoys the shackles of oppression
How we constantly complain of depression
But when its time to choose
We deliberately develop dementia
Forgetting our pain,
Our hunger
Our sorrows
Forgetting how neglected we were
All for temporary little coupons
To recycle the same old representatives
Who are obviously more equal than the others
All for democracy
Power to the people
But power to a more equal selected few
Our food is sour
But we chew with smiles on our faces
Suffering and smiling
Loving the shackles on our hands and feets
Joining black lives matter campaigns
Mental slavery!!
Enticing you with promises
Yet allowing miscreants,
To massacre you
Rape your children
Kidnap your folks
Still they keep your hopes high
With little insensitives
So you can help maintain status quo
Who says you have to suffer and smile?
Some animals are indeed more equal than the others.
